A Slanted Plank Bridge
I picked up my purple plastic stick from the sandy patch and dragged it along the curb gutter toward a metal drain grate. The gaps between the iron bars looked like huge canyons! I propped one end of the smooth purple stick up on the raised concrete curb edge and let the other end rest securely across the thick iron bar. With a quick hop, I balanced my rigid feet right across the center, bouncing lightly to test the spring. It gave a delightful rattle against the iron, making a sturdy footbridge straight over the dark slot! Haha, sidewalk architecture complete!
