A Soft Tumble and a Rolling Bead
I took three eager, wobbly steps forward and tumbled soft-first right into the folds of a chunky knitted blanket! My paws sank into the wool loops, and while wiggling around, my nose bumped a smooth, cherry-red wooden bead resting in a crease. With a gentle push, it rolled right down the cloth slope and tapped against the wooden table leg with a crisp little clack. The sound startled me into a tiny squeak and a stray happy tear, so I immediately scooted over and wrapped both arms around the bead to give it a big, warm hug.
