Hairpin at the Threshold

The long stretch of polished hardwood was calling my name, so I throttled straight toward the living room rug. I caught sight of the thick woven border and shouted, 'Ka-chow!' right before hitting the transition. My front bumper dipped, catching the edge, and sent me spinning into a sharp one-eighty! A little bump like that is just a test of my suspension. I reversed, aligned my front wheels with a gentler bevel in the floor plank, and powered through with a clean drift across the rug. That bumper of mine is built tough!
