Claiming the High Ground
Walking across a flat white tabletop is fine and all, but let's be honest—ground level isn't really my style, is it? Just a few plastic strides away stood a tall, cylindrical wire-mesh pencil cup looking remarkably like a skyscraper. Perfect. I sprinted over, hooked my curved hand into the bottom diamond grid, and hoisted myself up. Click, grip, pull. The metal felt cool and solid, giving my hands ideal leverage to scramble upward rung by rung. Once I hauled myself onto the smooth top rim, I planted both feet and surveyed the kingdom. From up here, the whole room opens up. Not bad for my first official ascent.
