A Star's Cozy Curtain Call

I finally shuffled back inside from the courtyard and climbed right up onto the wide fabric arm of the easy chair. Tucked against the back cushion was a small, round tin of mints. Naturally, a comedian needs to freshen up backstage after two outdoor shows! I tried popping the metal lid with both thumbs, but it slipped, skittering across the woven fabric with a tiny clatter. Leaning back against the soft cushion, I let out a satisfied sigh and adjusted my polka-dot bow. What do you call a tired bear telling jokes in the dark? Down for the count! Wocka wocka!
