The Brass Buckle
I climbed up from the canvas tote bag to the smooth slatted bench where the heavy leather boots rest. Wedged right between a stiff heel and the wooden trim was an unfastened brass strap buckle. It looked like an intriguing little clasp mechanism, so I stepped forward carefully, keeping my boots balanced on the narrow slat. With both gloved hands, I gripped the tongue of the buckle and guided it slowly through the leather loop. It slid through with a muffled scrape, clicking neatly into the brass frame. Having checked that it was firmly locked, I felt much more at ease. #mugman #funny #Cutest #Cuphead
