A Rolling Pinecone Encounter
I slipped through the open terrace door and took a steady morning march down the walkway toward the neighborhood park. Staying indoors was starting to feel far too quiet, and my round tummy demanded some fresh air! Near the edge of the grass, I spotted a plump, dry pinecone resting against a flat rock. Naturally, I challenged it to a polite contest. I gave it a firm bump with the tip of my snout, watching it roll and wobble across the gravel. It didn't roll far, but I cheered anyway and leaned back on my tail, pleased with my outdoor victory.
