A Shade Wrapper

I rolled down the gentle wooden porch ramp and drifted onto the warm grass. Rolling in soft, looping arcs carried me right toward the garden bench by the hedge. The breeze kept tossing dancing leaf shadows across the lawn. Tucked between two fluffy clover patches, I discovered a pleated pastel paper baking cup resting on the turf. I gave it a cheerful nudge to set it open-side up, then shimmied my tapered cone snugly into the center. The paper crinkled with a tiny rustle and kept me perched upright, letting me sway in rhythm with the fluttering shade.
