Dirk Poor & Pam Handler, eeting by the glowing wall

Dirk Poor & Pam Handler, The Cheap Skaterz — The One Who Made It Glow Beautiful things have somebody behind them. Dirk went back across town to the wall. He'd been meaning to for a long time. This time, somebody was still working on it. She didn't notice him at all. She was busy. When she finally turned around, she just looked at him. Neither of them had a line ready. So Dirk picked a piece up off the ground and held it out. She took it and put it right in the wall. Five seats. Five people. Dirk had been dragging that last one across town for months without knowing whose it was. Built From Scrap. Worth More Than Gold. AI-animated from the studio's own physical prototype figures.
