A Cozy Paper Harbor
I noticed an empty cardboard tea tin sitting upright near the base of the magazine basket. It seemed just wide enough for a quiet retreat, so I took a slow step closer and gave the rim a gentle tap with my flipper. Inside, someone had left three smooth, folded paper tags and a soft strip of tissue. I paused, considering the space before carefully easing myself over the edge. With a gentle shuffle, I settled down into the paper hollow. It cradled me snugly, smelling faintly of dried mint, while the quiet evening settled over the room.
