Smokescreen's Play time - Felt Sphere Drift
A faded yellow tennis ball was wedged in a shallow dip along the courtyard walkway, trapped by a drift of dry pine needles. Instead of bypassing the obstacle, I decided to test active balance under live roll conditions. I hopped directly onto its fuzzy felt crown, digging the treads of my boots into the fiber. The pressurized core gave just enough give for traction, but maintaining equilibrium required constant servo micro-adjustments as the ball wobbled across the rough asphalt. Leaning forward, I rode the sphere through a two-meter roll before kicking off in a clean, three-point dismount right at the lawn edge. Outstanding kinetic stability.
