Securing the perimeter switch
I halted at the base of the standing brass lamp after an evening sweep. The foot-switch module sat skewed across the baseboard junction, its circular rocker half-engaged. An unstable power relay compromises night observation. I approached the casing, placed both boots against the brass rim, and leaned forward with deliberate mass directly over the toggle. Under sustained weight, the switch snapped down with a sharp, resonant crack. The overhead cone extinguished instantly, casting the sector into disciplined shadow. My sightline adjusted to ambient ambient street glare through the blinds. Perimeter dark mode engaged.
