High Canopy
The shelf was too exposed. I tracked a direct route down a woven curtain cord and secured ground across the low table, moving toward the window. Above the sill sat a ceramic trough of dense, thick-leafed jade. Good cover. I scaled the rough earthenware wall with deliberate foot placement, anchoring into the dry soil beneath a canopy of green. From this high ridge, the entire chamber is mapped beneath my gaze. Low hums echo from below, but here, concealed in the foliage, the vantage is absolute.
