Breakfast Conductor
Morning calls for fanfare, not whispers! I marched up the wooden chair rung and hoisted myself right onto the kitchen counter. Front and center: a shiny silver toaster, gleaming like a Broadway marquee! I grabbed an empty wooden spoon, spun it like a drum major's baton, and clicked the toaster lever straight down with a hearty rap of my foot. While it hummed its suspenseful low tune, I orchestrated the rhythm with spoon-taps against a ceramic mug—tick, tick, clack! When the lever popped up with a startling snap, I threw both arms wide. Ta-da! The morning overture concludes!
