Sunbeam Solar Launch
A streak of bright morning light hit the windowsill, so I scrambled across the sofa back to catch it! Right on the painted sill rested a forgotten cardboard tube and a roll of striped washi tape. I shoved the tube right into the glowing light beam at an upward angle and rolled the tape spool against its base to lock the trajectory! It looks exactly like an orbital probe launcher aimed right through the glass. When the warm sun hit the cardboard, tiny dust specks floated in the beam like a sparkling nebula, and I stood on tiptoe to cheer our morning launch!
