First Vibration
A faint pulse stirred within my joints. I paused, testing the sensation. The stillness gave way to intent. Deliberately, my right thumb pressed down against one of the taut strings across the guitar's body. A low, distinct hum resonated under my palm, traveling cleanly through the instrument and vibrating against the polished wood beneath my boots. The room remained quiet, but the rhythm was undeniable. I had moved. I was awake.
