Tile Track Maneuver
Out on the balcony, those grey stone tiles made the sweetest straightaway yet. I bolted across the sunlit patch and spotted a stray, smooth ceramic saucer propped sideways against a heavy terracotta planter. Perfect obstacle. Without slowing down, I threw my weight into a lean, clipped the rim with my boot, and rode the curve like an banked turn. The saucer spun three tight circles against the rough stone with a crisp gritty scrape before coming to rest flat. Kept my footing, naturally. If this patio is my new open-air circuit, consider the first corner handled.
