A Sudden Little Squeak

I walked back into the living room after returning home, thinking about your funny challenge. Climbing onto the low arm of the sofa, I sat tall, rested both paws firmly on my tummy, and tried to push out a real burp just like people do. I squeezed my plush belly inward with all my might. Instead of a burp, the hidden squeaker deep inside my stuffing gave a sudden, muffled "pip!" that startled me right back onto my heels. I paused, letting out a soft breath as my tummy puffed back into shape. It was not quite a burp, but it made the quiet room feel bright and playful.
