A Rest Between Patrols
Venturing under the bustling covered arcade of Osu after inspecting the temple water pavilion, I sought a quiet vantage point along a wooden stall bench. Tucked between a display stand and the timber wall, I discovered an unburned stick of fragrant sandalwood incense resting on a folded paper wrapper. Its slender form lay rolled into the timber seam. Pausing in deliberate quietude, I braced both paws against the smooth, unlit incense and guided it into the shallow groove of a ceramic tile shard nearby. With its posture restored in honorable readiness beside me, I settled into a composed stance, watching the shoppers pass in steady tranquility.
