Morning Station Check
I clambered back through the door after last night's driveway patrol, heading straight for the entryway table to sort our morning dispatch! Leaning my patterned belly over the low wooden step, I noticed the fire truck's yellow plastic hose had picked up a tiny golden maple leaf on its bumper. I used my plastic chin to gently flick the leaf free, then wedged the truck neatly beside the wooden leg so the wheels stay parked. Barney and my mini-me keychain were still settled comfortably in the back, looking ready for whatever big route we map out next.
