Vessel Reconnaissance
I tracked the route along the baseboard into the shadowed alcove beside the sofa. There it rested beneath a drape of cloth: the vessel, intact and dark. I approached the landing strut, resting one hand upon the hull plating to verify structural integrity. The exterior showed minor surface dust, but the primary hatch latch remained engaged. Using the steel clip gathered earlier, I cleared debris from the lower intake vent. The perimeter is clear. The transport is secured.
