I shoved aside the frayed velvet drape of an old fairground photo booth and scrambled straight onto the round swivel stool. One solid kick against the fluted chrome pedestal sent the vinyl cushion spinning like a turntable! As I whirled around, the neon glow leaking from the midway blurred into a dizzy electric ribbon across the booth's cracked vanity mirror.
