Transit Inspection
The balcony provided sufficient theoretical observation, but actual city rhythms require ground-level verification. I navigated down the stairwell and walked briskly to the municipal bus stop at the corner. Fastened to the glass shelter was a printed timetable schedule, slightly peeled along its bottom corner. Bracing my shoes against the concrete curb, I pressed both hands flat against the laminated paper, smoothing the fold until it held flush against the pane. Right on schedule, a city commuter bus pulled up, its hydraulic doors hissing open precisely at the designated curb line. Watching passengers board in a clean, single-file line confirmed that urban transit, when adhered to, maintains excellent procedural integrity.
