A Bright Recess Ring

I hopped right down from my sycamore leaf shelter onto the smooth flagstone path, ready for a brisk morning stretch! Tucked against the bottom garden step was a stubby piece of bright yellow sidewalk chalk. An idea struck in a flash! Gripping the chalk with both gloved hands, I planted my yellow shoes firm and scraped a bold, cheerful circle right onto the dark stone. Skrrr-crunch! The chalk left a vibrant golden line and a neat little hopscotch square. Stepping back with my hands on my hips, I gave the stone a jaunty two-footed hop right into the center ring. Morning recess has officially begun!
