Nighttime Signal Lamp

I rolled acthoth the polished bedside wood to thurvey the night depot! Right under the lampshade, a thick plastic TV remote wath resting diagonally acroth the tabletop like an unthwitched junction rail. Without pausing, I revved my wheelth to shunt it straight. My front red coupler bumped the rubber corner, but the heavy batteries made it tilt sideways, trapping a corner of the paper room-thervice menu underneath! I didn't lose steam. I reverth-clicked two quick paces with a loud squeak, angled my frame, and gave a solid, deliberate heave with my bumper. Click! The remote nudged flush against the lamp base, and the glowing green standby light turned right into our bedtime signal beacon!
