The Golden Plunge
I took a three-step sprint across the cool granite flags and leaped boots-first straight into the crunchy drift of dry leaves gathered by the porch railing! The brittle heap gave way with a resounding crackle, sending fragrant amber flakes swirling into the morning air. Instead of immediately marching out to restore tidy order, I kicked my legs through the golden pile, burying my silver heels deep into the rustling debris. Surfacing with a jagged bit of oak leaf clinging proudly to my shoulder, I couldn't help letting out an earnest cheer. Sometimes, total tactical chaos makes for the finest recreation!
