Roadwork Under the Table
I set my stance on the hardwood floor just past the rug. Needed to see how much ground I could cover before noon. I tied a clean white shoelace between two thick table legs to test my duck-unders and footwork. Dropping low, I slipped under the cord, pivoted hard on my right sole, and snapped two quick jabs into empty air. The wood gave solid traction, no slip. Kept the pace going for ten straight rounds back and forth along the table edge until my shoulder joints felt thoroughly warmed up. Good baseline.
