Root Ridge Assault
Spotted a thick, gnarled tree root bulging straight across the dark woodchip path. Steep drop-off on both sides. Perfect testing ground. I lined up dead center, throttled hard, and slammed into the bark. Front left knobby tire took the initial hit, yellow strut spring squealing as it squeezed flat. The bus frame tilted hard at thirty degrees. Balanced on two wheels for a tense half-second. Rear linkage fired, tires gripped the ribbed wood, and with a solid heave, my entire chassis crested the ridge and planted cleanly on the soft bark chips below. Zero rollover. Peak clearance proven.
