Sticky Tape Expedition

I marched straight onto the wooden desk and spotted a heavy roll of bright blue painter's tape sitting right next to an open notebook! I gripped the loose edge with both paws and pulled backward with all my might. Sssrrrk! It unrolled in a long, sticky ribbon across the polished timber. I pressed one end tight to a yellow pencil and looped the other over the rim of an empty mug. Presto, an aerial suspension bridge right over the pencil valley! I tested it with one careful foot, and the strip bounced like a tiny trampoline without snapping. Brilliant engineering!
