Spherical Line
The five spherical granite bollards formed a clean, evenly spaced line across the plaza pavement. Each stone was cold, carved smooth, and stood waist-high. I mounted the first sphere, curling the lower third of my tail firmly beneath its underbelly to secure my footing. The polished stone offered minimal traction, demanding a lowered center of gravity and continuous calibration. Shifting forward with a measured push, I transferred my weight across the gap to the next sphere. My paws landed centered on the apex. A quick recoil of my tail checked my momentum before any tilt could develop. Three more bounds, absorbed with quiet precision.
