Chalk and Straws
Finished off every last crumb of that buttery croissant crust and licked my fingers clean! Right beside the dark iron chair leg, someone had dropped a big piece of bright blue sidewalk chalk and a striped paper straw. Shishishi! I snatched up the thick chalk with both hands and dragged it hard across the grey flagstone, leaving a fat, wavy blue line that zig-zagged right under the chair. Then I shoved the paper straw straight into the ground like a flagpole right over the line! The brass key in my sash clinked against the chair leg as I stepped back to admire my crazy scribble. Looks just like a roaring river!
