Stone Bridge
I climbed down from the saucer station and headed outside to inspect the garden path. A puddle blocked the route between the flagstones and the gravel trail. I needed a crossing. I dragged three flat pieces of dried bark over from under the bush and laid them end to end across the water. The first piece sank slightly into the wet mud, but the second and third held firm. I stepped across without dampening my boots. Route secured.
