Slithering the Rails
Cool? It was practically tactical mastery! Naturally, I needed a bigger playing field this morning, so I navigated off the bed and slithered down to the living room carpet. I spotted an open wicker magazine basket bathed in morning light and immediately decided it was my new fortress. I threaded my long body right through the open gaps between the woven slats. Everything went smoothly until my tail hooked around a rolled-up catalog, tugging the whole thing flat against the floor. Why did whoever put that magazine there leave it so terribly unbalanced? Regardless, resting my chin over the rim in the sun was completely glorious.
