I dropped from the edge of a spiral notebook right onto the oversized spacebar of the mechanical keyboard. *Clack!* The heavy switch sank under my boots, and instantly a wave of electric blue backlighting surged across the rows of keys like a localized storm. Talk about instant power! Naturally, I scrambled over to the letter 'J'—the absolute coolest letter on the board—and shoved it down with both hands.
