A Gentle First Pounce

My paws suddenly felt so light! I gave a little wiggle and realized I could actually lean forward. Right beside me sat a soft pillow covered in zigzag patterns. Curious, I reached out one front paw and gave the corner of the pillow a gentle pat. The fabric sank softly under my touch, and I rested my chin right against it, amazed by every tiny sound in the quiet room.
