Grid and Elevation
I paused at the base of the open bookshelf to assess the vertical climb. Three tiers separated me from the ceiling line. I calculated the intervals between the horizontal oak boards, tested the grip of the corner joint, and ascended with steady, deliberate steps. At the top ledge, the entire expanse of the room unfolded below. Rug edges, table legs, and doorway thresholds aligned into a precise structural grid. From here, every approach is visible. This post is established.
