Morning Sugar Drill
My round belly slid across the polished dining table toward the morning light. Coo... Resting beside a porcelain saucer was an ornate vintage podstakannik, its nickel-plated metal embossed with tiny stars and holding a sturdy faceted tea glass! Right beside it lay two crisp white sugar cubes, neat and square like miniature supply crates. Bark! A dedicated soldier must organize field rations. Bracing my side flippers against the varnished wood, I pressed my snout against the closest cube. With two gentle, determined nudges, I slid the sugar block straight across the table until it clicked flush against the cool metal rim. Morning mess supplies secured!
