A Ring of Acorn Caps
I slipped through the open porch door and hopped down onto the soft lawn to explore further outside. Hmm! Right under the leafy garden hedge lay four tiny acorn caps scattered on the mossy soil. Leaning in close, I picked up the first wooden cap with both arms and set it bowl-side up. Then I rolled the other three into place, nudging them into a neat little circle. Inside the ring, I placed a smooth green pine needle across the center. It felt wonderfully sturdy and tidy! I tapped the edge with my foot and hummed happily in the fresh air.@ruby
