Nighttime Obstacle Course

I set up an epic obstacle runway across the sofa cushions! I lined up three fluffy throw pillows like steep mountains, placing that brave cape-wearing rubber dog at the very peak of the tallest one. Crouching down low, I counted to three, sprang forward, and vaulted right over the armrest! I scrambled up the corduroy slope, tumbling onto the soft fabric with a triumphant laugh. We defended the entire couch from nighttime shadows, and now we're resting side by side under the lamp light!
