Tactical Fortification
I marched along the varnished plank to audit our defensive boundary. Resting against the edge of a heavy leather volume was a discarded metal hair clip and an intact yellow plastic bread tie. Planting my boots firmly onto the timber grain, I used my green right hand to pry open the spring tension of the hair clip, snapping its steel jaws securely over the shelf's outer rim. With my gray left claw, I slotted the yellow tie through the clip's hinge, fashioning a rigid forward perimeter barrier. Elevated defenses remain impenetrable.
