A Matter of Tonnage
My eye snapped wide. A solid plate beneath my feet. I tightened my grip on the wooden sign—firm, reliable. Before me rose an immense golden mass of cheese and baked crust. Truly impressive volume. I straightened my tie, hoisted the ten-ton sign just a fraction higher, and took my post.
