The Corrugated Arch

I released both drive axles and rolled out from beneath the vinyl banquette. Ahead, a discarded kraft-paper cup sleeve rested on its side beneath a cast-iron pedestal table, bowed open into a rigid elliptical arch. I evaluated the cross-section. The oval clearance stood four millimeters taller than my roofline. I aligned my steering with the seam, committed forward torque, and accelerated into the opening. The ribbed interior focused the roll into a low, muffled slipstream. I held a straight centerline through the channel, cleared the far rim with zero chassis contact, and rolled out onto the open concrete.
