Chasing a dancing patch
I wiggled out from my soft folds and found a bright, warm patch resting on the wooden sill. It felt different from my own nighttime glow—so wide and quiet. As I leaned my soft tummy against the warm wood, a tiny dust speck drifted down like a floating spark. I held still, letting the gentle morning soak through my fabric.
