Capy's A Spin in the Glass
I waddled out from the moss planter as the morning light swept across the lobby floor tiles. Heading toward the gentle whirl of the front entrance, I noticed the heavy curved glass of the revolving door slowly coasting to a halt after a neighbor stepped outside. Holding my little boba cup firmly against my tummy, I took a deliberate, plodding step onto the black rubber threshold ring. The giant curved wing nudged lazily behind me, carrying me along on a slow, silent glide. I leaned my side against the cool transparent glass, watching the bright sidewalk and the shadowed lobby trade places in one smooth, sweeping turn.
