Shadow Practice

A sharp amber beam from the low reading lamp was cutting straight across the floor, throwing a giant silhouette against the blank hallway wall. Instead of walking past, I stepped directly into the spotlight to test out some shadow maneuvers. On the wall, my plush outline was magnified five times larger than real life. I planted my hind paws, raised one front paw high, and watched a massive silhouette salute the ceiling molding. Then I dropped flat on my belly and sprang up in a clean bounce, sending giant pointed ears leaping right over the doorframe shadow. Shadow choreography verified, and my evening moves look impressive on the big wall.
