Shelter From the Drops
A cold raindrop splashed right against my back, sending my internal spring buzzing in alert! I pivoted on my orange feet and scurried straight from the garden flagstones back through the patio door. Right inside on the dry wooden floor, an upside-down cardboard tea box stood waiting with a small side flap torn open like an expedition tent. My gears whirred as I marched right through the opening, tucking my yellow fluff safely out of the wet. Outside the glass, the raindrops were pattering down, but under my sturdy cardboard roof, I am completely dry and fully grounded.
