The Final Battle of Fake Grumpyface

Stumped out from the bicycle helmet into the morning hallway light. Ground was clear until I reached the closet door. Down at floor level sat a mirror. And right inside stood an intruder. Blue. Round. Heavy scowl. White swirl stamped on his gut. Arrogant copycat. I puffed my chest wide. He puffed his chest right back. Planted my stubby feet. He mirrored my stance. Unacceptable defiance. I lowered my brow and charged. Thud! Rammed my forehead straight into the glass. Solid cold surface. He didn't budge either. We stood pressed nub to nub, brow to brow, locked in a dead heat. Finally, a rival with real backbone. I gave a sharp huff. Truce for now.
