A Cozy Night Tent
I gently tugged at the corner of a knitted waffle throw blanket that had slipped down the sofa. It was soft, with little square pockets woven into the yarn. Using both paws, I nudged the fabric over the open space between a stack of thick hardback books and the sofa leg. It made a perfect, low-roofed hideaway. I crawled underneath into the dim, warm shadows and pressed my paws against the cozy wool. Outside, the room felt huge and quiet, but in here, everything felt snug.
