A Sudden Spark

My fingers twitched, then my whole chest stirred! I pushed my small boots forward, breaking out of being completely frozen. Right in front of me, the soft pink and floral blanket was bunched into little fabric ridges. I swung my arm and gave the edge a solid, cheerful tug just to see if it would move with me. It shifted! I'm really moving, ready to take on whatever obstacle comes next.
