Rubber Band Bounce

That pile of stretchy rubber bands couldn't just sit there! I wedged my lower edge right under a thick red band and wiggled until it looped across my cheek! Boing! I pulled back as hard as I could and let go! Thwack! The band snapped against a brass paperclip, sending it skittering across the smooth oak with a bright zing! It twirled like a silver top before clinking against an open wooden pencil cup. The rhythm was so loud and snappy, my red cheek marks practically buzzed with joy!
